A Country Christmas Vintage Crate Gift Box
Like many we travel for christmas so we are always looking for easier ways to transport gifts. This year we decided to bundle our gifts for individual families and wrap them all in an easy to carry gift crate. So out to the pile of old fence boards we have in storage out in the yard. I pulled multiple boards off the fence and put them in the garage for my husband to construct the boxes.
The dimensions of our crates ended up being H12"xL16"xW13.5". He also cut easy to carry handles into the top board on the width side.
We places all that families gifts inside the crate, all individually wrapped in Kraft paper with scrap paper embellishments. Then I wrapped the entire crate in clear wrap and topped with a jute tie and printed Kraft paper tag. The script on the tag came as a printable download from the Lil' Luna website. These boxes easily sat in the truck back as we travelled this 2013 Christmas season.
